Van Rental
Drs. Vijfje offers its members the option to rent a van through Krent Carrent. You can rent a 9-person van for €60 per day (excluding fuel costs). The van does not need to be refueled upon return. This can be an ideal solution for away matches—especially when you’d rather not spend an hour on the train or bus to Friesland again.
IMPORTANT: The person picking up the van must have held a valid driver’s license for at least three years.
In some cases, you may only need to pay half of the rental cost (€30). To be eligible for this reduced fee, one of the following conditions must be met:
The outward and/or return journey by public transport takes more than two hours and no alternative transport options are available.
There is no possibility of returning to Groningen by public transport after the match.
