General Terms and Conditions
New members of Drs. Vijfje are required to:
pay the membership fee;
pay the Newcomer’s Fee;
purchase an ACLO sports card;
demonstrate sportsmanship in accordance with the club’s code of conduct.
Membership Fee
Each member must pay the fee associated with their chosen type of membership.
Newcomer’s Fee
The Newcomer’s Fee is a €30 contribution that has been required from every new Vijfje member since July 15, 2017. After paying this fee, new members can join the Newcomers’ Weekend free of charge. This weekend takes place at the beginning of the academic year, when both new and current Vijfje members head to a group accommodation for a weekend full of fun, beer, and great people. The funds are also used to organize an additional party for new members. In rare cases, a very small extra fee might be required to keep the weekend financially sustainable. However, the full amount collected through the Newcomer’s Fee will ultimately be used for great activities for new Vijfje members.
ACLO Sports Card
When joining a student sports association, it is mandatory to have a valid ACLO Sports Card. By purchasing an ACLO Sports Card for €59.95, you not only gain access to your association’s activities, but you can also enjoy unlimited access to all ACLO facilities and offerings throughout the year—this includes group classes, open hours, and even free squash court reservations.
Please note: If you are not a student at Hanze University of Applied Sciences or the University of Groningen, you will have to pay the higher rate of €134.95 for the ACLO Sports Card.

Code of Conduct
To promote good sportsmanship, Drs. Vijfje has implemented a code of conduct. This code applies to all members and staff of the club. It is an extension of the rules, values, and principles outlined in the club’s Statutes, Internal Regulations, Multi-Year Policy Plan, and Technical Policy Plan.
