Friends team
Are you students and want to play futsal together as a friends team? You can at Drs. Vijfje! Awesome that you’re interested in signing up as a friends team. It’s important that each person registers individually using the form on this page. Please make sure everyone mentions the same name of your team captain, so we can place you all in the same team. It's also a good idea to decide in advance what level you'd like to play at.
If you unfortunately decide not to become a member of Drs. Vijfje after signing up, you have a two-week period to withdraw your registration. If someone cancels after two weeks, the contribution for the first half of the year will be charged to that person.
After signing up, you will be informed as soon as possible whether your team can be placed or if you will be put on the waiting list.
Please fill out the form as completely and accurately as possible. The information provided will later be used for the Almanac and each member’s official registration.
Extra information about preferred match days: You can indicate a preferred day for your matches. We will do our best to accommodate your request, but we cannot guarantee that your team will always play on your preferred day. Also, please note that Wednesday teams often have away matches on Fridays as well!
Furthermore, on Fridays there are always post-match drinks at our regular pub, and there will also be various midweek social events throughout the year. These are great opportunities to meet other members of association. You can also choose to become more involved by joining one of our committees, but that’s completely up to you!
ACLO card: Every student who joins a student sports association in Groningen must purchase an ACLO card. For students at the University of Groningen (RUG) and Hanze University of Applied Sciences, the cost is €74.95. Are you no longer a student at RUG or Hanze? Please check this page for information on ACLO membership rules and fees. If you believe you may qualify for an ACLO exemption, please contact the secretary after signing up.
Please note: A few years ago, we introduced a one-time New Member Contribution of €30. This fee is paid by all new members and will be fully used for activities for new members.
